When my son, Dexter, was almost two, he wanted to be Green Lantern for Halloween. I bought him Green Lantern pajamas from Amazon, but I couldn't find the mask I wanted or a ring that would fit him. So, I made my own. For the mask, I took inspiration from Kyle Rayner's version of Green Lantern because that's our favorite. I drew the shape on foam, then cut it out. I glued the two sections together and then painted it. I then stuck it to his face using spirit gum.
I made his green lantern ring out of clay that you bake. Then I super glued it to a ring base that I purchased from Hobby Lobby. I then painted that green to match the top.
Cute!
